pear CUT
Highly regarded due to its brilliance and timeless elegance. Pear cuts are a variation of the round brilliant cut – rounded on one end with a tapering point on the other, like teardrops.

The most universally popular stone cut and one of PANDORA’s most used stones. Round brilliants are the most sparkly of the cuts as they maximise light return.
The shape of an elongated oval with points on both ends. It was invented in the 18th century and is said to be named after the Marquise de Pompadour, the mistress of King Louis XV.

An antique cutting style with a name inspired by an opening rose bud. The crown (top) of the stone is dome-shaped and the back is flat. The facets are triangular and meet in a point in the centre.
